7 (who?)
The water was lapping at his feet.

He ignored the fact that it was stained pink, or that no-longer-innocent petals were falling on him. The water was lapping at his feet, and he was beginning to get cold. He should hurry home; Yao was going to be worried-

The water was lapping at his feet.

He would not think of his older brother. Brother had been bad, and wrong, and had tried to leave him all alone-

The water was lapping at his feet.

Brother wouldn't be bad anymore. Kiku had been helping him, but he was too bad to realize it. Now Yao would see that he was right, and they would be a happy family-

He missed his little brother. Yong Soo was, though a bit too loud and obnoxious, company. But then he started to act bad, and asked to leave and-

The sun was setting over the forest at the other end of the pond. In fact, if he looked up, he could see the amazing sunset, purple turning to pink, pink to red, red like brother had been after Kiku had stopped him from being bad-

The water was lapping at his feet.

He wondered what he would have for dinner tonight. He wasn't very hungry, but Italy and Germany were coming over. He would have to get up, change his cloths, cook dinner, serve the meal... that was assuming that they came over when they  said that they would. It wouldn't surprise him if Italy dragged Germany over early to surprise him... he could feel a headache coming on.
Sighing, he gazed over the water, pretending that the color was the reflection of the sunset. On the water were light pink petals, which this morning had been white. They would still be white if he hadn't-

The water was lapping at his feet.

He decided to count the petals. It just felt so hard to get the strength to get up.

He remembered counting snow white petals with his brothers beside him as they ate lunch.

It was so easy to just think of those times together, to sink into the memories…

Things were so easy back then. Brother had taken care of them all, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand…

But nothing good could ever last. One by one, they drifted apart, leaving him alone with the shadows and katana-sama. He had been lonely, yes, but he talked often to the shadows, so it wasn't so bad. Sometimes, katana-sama talked to him too, telling him that it was alright, just to follow his instructions and he would never be lonely again.

And then he suddenly had two of his brothers back. He had just wanted to keep them safe from those who meant them harm, safe from themselves. But no matter how many times he explained to them, they wouldn't stop being bad.

Its my first fanfiction, featuring Snapped!Japan. This isn't supposed to reference any historical events. The whole flower petal thing is supposed to be about white petals stained by blood. About katana-sama... it just seemed creepy, Japan talking to his sword.

Tell me if you think that this needs a warning.
